Stillness reflects a pause along the shoreline, where the sounds of the sea create a sense of calm. On a sunny day, the air carries the sounds and rhythm of the waves. Nothing moves but for the slight bobbing of the waves and land and sea settle into balance, inviting quiet reflection
The resin-coated surface reflects light, creating a painting that is unique and ever changing, echoing the shifting air and sound of the beach. This work speaks to my love of the sea and the stillness that can be found within its constant motion.
